Anatomy ultrasound

We had our anatomy scan on Wednesday. The babies are each 8 oz and perfect.

In one pic, Micah had his butt in Levi’s face.  It was hilarious.

I can’t remember if I shared their names yet but we’ve decided on Micah Reid (baby A) and Levi Joshua (baby B).  

The MFM said that everything is looking great but we have to be realistic and to remember that we are only halfway there.

So far, all of the genetic tests have come back negative. So far we are in the clear for not having any of the trisomies, tay Sachs, cystic fibrosis, etc.

This ultrasound also confirmed that they’re most certainly ALL BOY!!

My morning sickness finally tapered off around 17 weeks and have been doing okay ever since.

the test results are in!!

We got the results back from our genetic testing... negative for the trisomies, negative for CF, negative for tay sachs, negative for canavan disease, negative for familiar autonomia.... all good news....

And confirmed that we're having BOYS!!!   We wanted to do the "sex organ reveal" today but it's freezing cold and raining, so the smoke cannons would be a bust and we wouldn't be able get good pictures - hopefully tomorrow.

Genetic testing

Tomorrow we are going for our nuchal translucency scan... and bloodwork to determine chromosomal abnormalities.  Also confirm gender.  Definitely nervous.
